Favourite subjects

We go to the same class, so we have the same subjects and the same teachers.

Some of them are in  spanish and some of them are in english. In spanish we have:

-Maths
- Spanish
- P.E.
- Physics and chemistry

And in english:

- English
-Social sciences
-Biology and geology
-Computer science
- M.A.E.
- Tutory
- Ethics

And then we have french.

Our favourite subject is, for both of us, biology (although we hate geology). Other subjects that we like are chemistry, but not physics. The worst subject of all is maths. We also like computer science and french, although the teacher is a little bit deaf (but we love her).

We dont have a favourite teacher, but the ones we like most are Miguel Teje that is the computer sciences and technology teacher (he taught us last year too), Pepa (the physics and chemistry teacher) who explains very good the subject and Elena (the biology teacher), who is a great teacher and explains very well.

Our hobbies and favourite sports

For me, Sofia, playing sports is a very important part of my life. Since I started with sports I´ve tried a lot of them: I have done skating, basketball, rugby, fencing, swimming, etc.

Right now, I am doing surf lifesaving  or surf rescue. I train in the swimming pool during the weeek and on holidays and some weekends I go to the beach and we train different races or events. For the pool trainings I am used to train in the swimmingpool of Vicalvaro o San Blas, and I compete in many pools of Madrid. My beach trainings can be (in the beach, Mrs Obvious) in many parts of Spain, from lakes in Madrid to the beaches of Alicante or A coruña.

I´m Sandra, and my favourite sports are sking, golf, and sleeping in my sofa. Thats the best of all.

I only go skiing in winter obviously. When I practice this sport I do it with my father, family and some friends. I usually go 3 times per year. My favourite places for skiing are The Aragonese Pyrinees and Sierra Nevada which is amazing.

When I was little, I used to do ballet and spanish dance (flamenco); but, when I was twelve, I decided to leave it .
Talking about hobbies, what we prefer to do in our spare time is listen to music, read, watch movies and tv series, but what we love most is to go out with our friends.

4º + EMPRESA

During the month of March, we stayed in a bussiness for 4 days. Both of us ( Sandra and Sofía) went to do our practices to a pharmacy.

Sandra stayed in a farmacy located in Suecia street, called Suecia 30 Pharmacy; and Sofía stayed in a farmacy in the street Hermanos García Noblejas, called Castillo Mora Pharmacy.

It was such a very good experience, and we both learned a lot.

We had multiple tasks:

- Receiving deliveries and verifying the delivery note.
- Organise the medicines received in the right place.
- Deal with clients.
- Ordering new deliveries.
- Stablising prices for some medicines.

The first day of Sofia´s practices some people of a bussiness called Vitis, who creates and sells bucal and dental hygine products, came to the chemist and gave us a talk about the brand new products. The boss of the chemist buyed some of their products and they gave us for free some more.

The last day of Sandra`s practices a woman of a bussiness called Heliocare, who creates suncream for different types of factors. He came to the pharmacy and spent with us around an hour talking about the new products for this summer. The boss of the chemist said to me that she had to think about how many products she would have to buy.

OUR TRIP TO DUBLIN

31 March 2016

At 10:30 we took a plane to the city of  Dublin. When we arrived, we left our cases in Abigail´s Hostel and we went to a tour of the Trinity College.

We stayed in the college gardens, and later we went to visit the National Gallery.

1 April 2016

We woke up early in the morning (we actually didn´t) to visit the Guiness brewery. Although we couldn´t try any beer (dam it) the visit was funny and we learnt a lot about beer.

On the 7th floor, there was a pub or bar with a lot windows where we could see the whole city, although it was a little bit cloudy and foggy. The bar was full of people, and it was a little bit anoying.

In the afternoon, we went to a Viking Tour that showed us all the city. We wore viking helmets and we "tried" to scare people in the street by yelling at them. We didn´t expect having such a good time.

2 April 2016

In the morning, we took a train to Howth, a coastal village near Dublin. We were going to see some cliffs, but we had the great idea of walking through the countryside. While it was raining. It was pretty fun, as you can see ( IT WASN´T). On the afternoon, we had free time, and as it was still raining we decided to stay in the hostel.

3 April 2016

We woke up earlier than usual (yes, we did it) and we took a bus to Wicklow Mountains. It was raining, as the day before, so when we had our first stop, we were supposed to see this:
But, what we really saw was this:
We were walking for 2 or 3 hours, and during that time we saw a cementery, many trees, a waterfall, and some lakes. And a lot of rain.

4 April 2016

As it was our last day, we had to pack our things, which was a real struggle. We fought against our cages, but we won. We left them in the hotel and we went to a book store and we walk around the north part of Dublin. Then, we had some free time.
Later, we took a bus to the airport, and with the incredibly precise organisation of the trip, WE MISSED OUR STOP AND WE HAD TO WALK THROUGH THE AIRPORT TO ANOTHER TERMINAL.
